I hope you enjoyed my very first video blog. Here is a link to Frosting Bath & Body. I enjoyed trying out their eye shadow in Vintage. I think it will be one of my favorites.

Good News...Thanksgiving...Unsure of Myself
Good News...
Hubby did get the job that he went to in for. We are so glad too because we did not know what we were going to do if he had not got this job. It was a little touch and go with everything else that was going on at the time and Christmas coming up.
Thanksgiving...
It was a blast. Family time, good food, and lots of fun. Not much else to say about it except that is was much need time away for home and much need love from my family considering what hubby and I had been through the weeks before hand.
Unsure of Myself...
I have posted about making blankets/quilts previously and trying to make a go at it to help us out by bringing in a little extra cash. It just doesn't seem like I have been up to making blankets lately. I have all this material sitting here and I look at it and think do I really think this is going to help us one day. I just don't feel encouraged enough I guess. I had listed my completed blankets on eBay and they got a few hits but never sold and now they are listed on Etsy and my facebook page but nothing yet. I do have the one rag quilt that a lady ordered finished and I really hope she likes it because part of it gave me such are hard time. I am going to keep at it though in hopes that maybe I will be able to make enough money to pay for Christmas gifts every year.
On Another Note...
I have been handling the miscarriage pretty well. I was not that far along maybe 4 or 5 weeks. Sometimes I just wish that there was something we could have done to stop it from happening altogether. Now it just a waiting game as to when my next cycle will start so we can try again. I wish there was some way to make this hurry and happen I am all a ball of nervous, happy, energy. I know, I know it take time for my body to recover and in time it will happen again but I just wanting to make my hubby's dreams happen by giving him another child.
Well now that I got that all off my chest I feel much better.
Have a wonderful day everyone.

Doctors Appointment...Sick...Blankets
It has been one of those weeks. I got my blood work results from the doctors office on Tuesday and what they seen was not very encouraging. My HCg level had dropped once again this time down to a 20. So I am now waiting until tomorrow when I have my doctors appointment at 11:15 in the morning. Lots of things I want to know...Does this mean I miscarried if you put the drop in HCg levels and bleeding and cramping? What are the chances this will happen again? When is the earliest we can start trying again? Could there be a possibility that I am still pregnant (hubby is hold out hope)? I know a bunch to ask and probably should know already but this is our time with all of this and I am confused by the information that I have received from family and friends and reading online.
So hubby and I have been sick. Nothing to bad just mainly stopped up nose, sneezing, and watering eyes. Not how I wanted to start my Thanksgiving holiday feeling like poop. Thank you goes out to my brother in law for bringing over his cold that my hubby caught and then gave to me. LOL. I am just giving him a hard time, we would have gotten sick some how anyways. I don't like not being able to breath though. PLEASE, let me breath again, PLEASE!
Good news though I got my facebook page set up so I can get word out about making quilts and blankets. I have not clue why it took me so long to do this but I wish I had done it along time ago because I already have a blanket to make for a lady whose daughter is due to have a bay in December. (Did I already mention this in a blog before, I have lost my mind lately maybe it has something to do with this cold). I tried listing the blankets on eBay with no such luck. I decided to just post them to my Facebook page and maybe even try my Etsy account. I am just trying to help my family by using a skill that I have and a love for crafting things to make a little money for the holidays. Here is a few that I made for some of my family...
Also you can find what I listed for sale here Lil Ash Homemade Goodies or my facebook page Handmade Quilt/Blankets and Jewelry by M.K.H.

Support is Apprecitated
I just want to say first that I appreciated all the support that everyone has given me and my hubby these last few days whether it be on here, my twitter thanks to my niece Krissy, Facebook or by phone/ in person. It has been a tough week for me and the not know for sure what has happened, I am still waiting on information from my doctors office and I have a follow up appointment on Friday Nov. 18th. I am still keeping my head up and staying positive.
On another note, I am slowly getting back to making blankets/ quilts. I have to make a little money between now and Christmas so that I can get my little girl a few things that she has asked for. I am really hoping that I can make a go of it this time around. Things have been a little tough for us this past year what with my mother in law moving in with us and now this time of year hubby's job has slowed way down and money is not coming in to cover bills/ rent. I made a page dedicated to my homemade goods so to get the word out that I do this type of thing and it looks like it will be a great outlet for me. I already have a blanket sold to a nice lady for her daughter who is due to have her baby in the early part of December. I am excited that is could possibly bring me more customers that need or want blankets for gifts or just for themselves.
So this is what has been going on with me lately and now I am off to get material cut and ready to be sewn for the next two quilts that I am working on.
Thanks again for all the support.

Pregnancy...Miscarriage...Confusion
I am not sure where to start or what to think.
Hubby and I start TTC again. I started by going to the my OB/GYN to get checked out and to make sure everything looked good. I had been having some bleeding issues (like month long or more periods that were in my opinion sporatic). He ordered an ultrasound and blood work which all showed eveything to look okay and no reason that I could not proceed. The only thing that he felt could be the problem was that I was not ovulating so he prescribed Clomid 50 mg from day 5 to day 9. I had told him that I was concerned about the heavy flow of my period so he prescribed me lysteda to help with this which I love but am wondering now if it just makes it lighter for the time that I am taking it then goes back to the normal flow that I am use to.
So on to the TTC part. On Sept. 24th I started the first day of my new cycle which meant that we could start the clomid this month on day 5 (Sept. 28th). We started just as the doctor said but I was still spotting on the day he said to have love making time so we pushed it off till the next morning Oct. 5th. and again a few more times (6 more to be exact) till what I thought to be my next cycle (Oct. 24th). We did not think nothing of it I was bleeding it was a period to me the normal cramps and back ache like always. I did not think of the 2 days that I had extremely sore boobs back on the 13th and 14th of Oct. or when I started smelling things around the house first thing in the morning that just weren't there or no one was up that early cooking. It was not until hubby suggested that I take a HPT test and so did another family member just to see if I was pregnant. I just kept saying there is no possible way I am bleeding and not just lightly I was flowing. I did however test the next morning Nov. 5th and low and behold a damn POSITIVE, a blue plus sign..."are you flipping kidding me" is all I could think. Per request of my Aunt "mom" Karyn I went to the store and bought a different brand of HPT and tested again this time 2 bright pink lines, yeppers I was pregnant. I now am growing concerned because of all the bleeding and slight cramping that I was having. By the next evening the pain (cramping) that I was having was just not going away and so off to the ER we went. After waiting for almost an hour they finally get me to the back I talk to the nurse give them my info and what is going on, take my urine for yet another pregnacy test (positive) then we do some more waiting. The nurse comes back and asked if the doctor had been in and she had not. Before the doctor came in they took me to have an ultrasound which I wanted to punch that lady in her face because she was pushing and poking me and I was already in so much pain. After that I get back to the ER room where the doctor finally comes in does an exam and they also took like a handful of blood to have tested for eveything under the sun.
By now we are overly tired from all the waiting and the fact that it is now like 3 am on Monday morning and we are wondering if we are ever going to get out of there because the kiddo is at home with grandma and will be getting up soon for school. Finally the doctor comes back in to tell us that my HCg level was at a 151 and everything else looked ok, never saying that I was miscarring or anything of the sort just that i was having vaginal bleeding and pain. I go home with instructions to be on a clear liquid diet until the pain goes away and to follow up with my OB/GYN.
I was still confused and happy and shocked not knowing what to think about any of this. I call the doctors office later that morning and set up to see the doctor and forgetting the to mention that I had been to the ER and having to reschedule the next day so that I could be seen sooner. I went in Wednesday Nov. 9th. Once again I was poked and prodded this time by my doctor, he did not find anything on the ultrasound that would make him concered and he did say that it was still to early for anything to show up on the ultrasound. I had more blood drawn. He did tell me that there was some bleeding and that my cervix was closed (which is a good thing). We talked a bit on things and he said that it is in gods hand and if the case is a miscarriage at least we know that I can get pregnant. Still not saying that I was miscarring. We go home with instruction to come back on Friday for more bloodwork. I called them the next day to see where my HCg level was and was told that it was at a 35. We did go back on Friday for more HCg bloodwork I am thinking about calling them on Monday to see what the results from that test were. I do have a follow up appointment this coming Friday to talk to the doctor and I am going to ask a few more questions one is going to be what did he mean that my cervix was still closed.
What has me confussed about all this is that I never thought to ask him what it means that my cervix is still closed. I did do some research on the net to see what other people were saying about this and it is a mix of things. Some say that yes it would be a miscarriage even with the cervix closed others say that that is not the case and I also read that a closed cervix just means that it is a threatened miscarriage. A threatened miscarriage just means that there was a threat but it did not happen. Women who have had this threat of a miscarrige are still pregnant and have healthy babies.
I just a ball of messed up emotions right now. I am not sure what to think, was it a miscarriage or is it possible that I am still pregnant. I trying to stay positive and keeping my head up and not letting this get me down. I would just like some answers. I need to know so we know what we need to be doing next.
What are your thoughts on all this? Need some input...PLEASE!
Edit*** forgot to mention that the bleeding has stopped and I have no more pain.

Spring Break 2011
I can say ended pretty nicely.
I was kind of worried that it was starting out kind of on a crappy note. Funds where a little on the late getting to us. Ugh, if only life was perfect but hiccups happen. Our niece Samantha came to stay with us for the week. We went on a road trip to my moms and lets just say that was sort of scary, fun, and a bit boring all rolled together. Spent the next few days at the house just chilling and doing my normal routine plus the added play in makeup, listen to music dance around, and be loud. The weekend was the best we barbecued pork chops on the grill, baked chocolate chip cookies, and took Ashtyn to the park. It all come to and end today when I had to take Samantha home. Ashtyn got sad did not understand until we said she had to go to school. The last thing we did this evening as a family was walk around the park and then played kick ball with our future soccer player.

R.I.P. Aunt R.L.
We lost a wonderful woman in our family on the 16 of February 2011. Aunt Rita you will truely be missed.
The passing of my Aunt has hit me a lot harder emotionally then I was expected given that I had not talked nor seen her in a few years. I wish now we had been closer and talked more. There is a lot of stuff I would like to have asked her. This has made me realize that even though my family has been through&some tough time we should stay in contact. I can't bring everyone together but I can do my best to make sure we still talk to each other in some way.
The passing of a loved one is never easy and dealing with the grief is never easy to deal with. I am usually the one who stays strong in this time and usually the shoulder that others lean on. However I am finding that thats not the case this time. I don't know what to do with my emotions...I feel like crying, screaming, and lashing out in anger.
My Aunt Karyn had it right that we need an " Easy Button " during times such as these.
